Information request
If you wish to proceed we will forward a contract that can be electronically signed and a full application form that can be completed online (takes about 5 minutes). We will also need proof of ID and address.
Introducer Appointed Representative
We will apply to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) to add you to our license as an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR) using the information you provided to us.
Firm Reference Number
The FCA will issue you with your Firm Reference Number (FRN) usually within 28 days. This will allow you to use our marketing resources to offer finance options to your customers and give you access to our large panel of lenders.
Integrate our application journey
Integration with FinanceWorks is pretty straightforward, we will supply you with all the marketing material for your website when you have been given your FRN by the FCA.
Customer applies
We will provide you with a link to our application form that contains a tracking ID that we use to track your customer’s applications. You can request a report on this at any time.
Customer receives offers
On completion of an online application, your customer will receive an instant response with offers from a number of banks or lenders. It is up to them to select the best deal for themselves
Customer accepts offer
If they choose to proceed the customer completes the application with the lender directly. The lender will usually pay out to the customer within 24-48 hours of the completed application.
You invoice for your service
You then treat that customer as you would treat a regular cash customer.

Once you have gone through the steps you should be good to offer your customers finance subject to their circumstances.
By being registered as an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR) it allows you to sell Consumer Credit.
What is an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR)
Your Options
The FCA definition:
An introducer appointed representative is an appointed representative appointed by a firm whose scope of appointment must, under SUP 12.5.7 R, be limited to:
1. (a) effecting introductions to the firm or other members of the firm’s group; and
2. (b) distributing non-real time financial promotions which relate to products or services available from or through the firm or other members of the firm’s group.
In practical terms:
This means you operate under a separate FCA approved firm. You will have a legally binding contract with them. This firm will provide you with procedures required by the FCA to become and remain compliant. You will be able to pass your customers details to the approved firm, you will not be able to discuss any of the regulated products with the customer.

Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR) Status allows you to fulfil your compliance responsibilities as part of the First Call Group network – you don’t have to become directly regulated. We provide everything you need to ensure that your team is competent and compliant under FCA regulations.
We will support you on an ongoing basis to maintain the required standards.
Whatever route you choose to go, our specially designed compliance training programmes ensure that every member of your team becomes approved to introduce retail finance and insurance products. Our reporting systems allow us to keep an eye on how each member of the team is doing and support them if and when they need help. They also provide proof of competence and compliance, as required in an FCA audit.

£995 + VAT
Option to pay the setup fee over 3 months.
Monthly Subscription:
£49 + VAT
After setup, you pay £49 + VAT per month for 3 months, then continue on a monthly rolling contract at the same rate, with each monthly fee paid upfront.
